Albert Serra

Spanish filmmaker born in 1975 in Banyoles, Catalonia. Known for arthouse slow cinema exploring mortality and philosophy. His films include Story of My Death (2013, Golden Leopard Locarno), The Death of Louis XIV (2016), and Pacifiction (2022, nine Cesar Award nominations).
